Commerical Office Washroom Refurbishment

Commerical Office Washroom Refurbishment

Watford

Complete refurbishment of Ladies and Gentlemens washrooms at a key client of ours based in Watford.

A key client of ours wanted to refurbish their some what dated Ladies and Gentlemen’s Washrooms (toilets). We needed to keep one of the two Loo’s functional during the project and carry out any noisy works either at the weekend or during lunch break whilst other occupants of the building wouldn’t be disturbed. The initial meets centred around what needed to be removed, what solutions could be provided, designs of what it would look like and samples of finishes selected.

The time line was quite important as the person over seeing the works was due to g on annual leave after we had finished the project so we had a 4 week window to turn the project around. We stripped out the old cubicle panels, the toilet stacks, cisterns, urinals, sinks, sink surrounds. Decommissioned existing hand dryers which were built into the wall and removed old light fittings. and replaced with new LED energy efficient units.

Everything removed was replaced, one of the cubicles was turned into a ambulant toilet to meet the latest building control regulations and the individual basins replaced with a single more modern trough style design sink with motion sensor taps.
The cisterns installed reduced water usage by the client and are compliant with latest regulations.

Whilst there were a few challenges along the way we were able to complete the installation within the time scale required and produce a job which looks fabulous.

MBS worked with us from start to finish and came up with some great ideas that we hadn’t considered, the overall affect is brilliant and reflects a more modern, stylish environment not only for our staff but for our visitors as well. The feed back we have had is very positive and I would happily recommend MBS to other companies considering similar projects.
